Unmasking Brain Injury in Minnesota

Unmasking Brain Injury in Minnesota is a statewide, community-based art project that promotes brain injury awareness by giving individuals a creative outlet to show others what it is like to live with a brain injury and stroke.  Join the Minnesota Brain Alliance at Trinity Lutheran Church for a display of masks from the Unmasking Brain Injury in Minnesota project; a showing of the award-winning "Unmasking" documentary; and a Q & A following the film.  Display of masks begins at 6:00pm; documentary and Q & A begins at 6:30pm.  Open to the public.

Small Group Study:  If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat

Peter may have been the first one out of the boat, but Jesus' invitation to walk on water is for all of us.  Join Tim and Jenny Hagen for this small group study that includes discussion and video clips, and you will discover how to discern God's call, manage transcend fear, risk faith and trust God.

Healthy Cooking Class

The Health Ministry Committee will offer a Healthy Cooking Class in November.  The class will be led by Dotz Johnson and Sara Van Offelen, and will include a discussion on healthy cooking, all while making a delicious and healthy meal that will be shared with the participants.   Please sign up with JoAnn prior to the event.

Financial Peace University

Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University provides tools and techniques to help reach peace with one’s finances.  Each session consists of a video followed by a discussion.  This class is designed for everyone, those who are in the financial world and those who are beginning their journey into the financial world.

Parent Connect 

We all work together to raise faithful kids in today’s world.  Parent Connect forums are an opportunity for all of us who care about kids to stay connected and learn about topics affecting kids today.  It’s also an opportunity to meet and get to know other parents.  And it’s all centered in faith and prayer.

Sunday Morning Forums

We are introducing a new Sunday “Once a Month” Morning Forum focused on the needs around us, and we are inviting individuals to come and speak about needs and current issues that they are passionate about.  It helps all of us to be more informed about the needs around us, and might spark something in you.
